I found these bags while living in Nicaragua and brought a few home. I passed them out to the family and got rave reviews, confirming my opinion that they were extremely useful and great looking.

I had never seen anything like them in the United States and saw this as an opportunity to introduce this useful bag to others while supporting the people of Guatemala.

Although these bags are lightweight, they are extra strong and durable, too. You can fill them with as much as you want to carry! Great for groceries as they don’t get crushed. My sister uses Taskits to wash veggies from her garden with a hose, then gives it an “around the world” spin dry.

These bags (canastas) are fairly made and fairly paid for. When you buy a Taskit it gives direct support for the indigenous workforce who makes them.

We hope you love them as much as we do!
